well I just got notice that my stupid health plan won't pay for my CT scan of my lungs. they say it's not medical nesasary on one page and said a different reason on a different page. it took me a long time to get my appointments with them and my palm. doctor so when I go in my doc will have results. I went through a lot of stuff and now it was for nothing. it was so frustrating I cried like three times during it all. now I have to cancel my appointment. I swear I'm going to just get shit faces drunk and forget the whole mess. maybe if I have cancer the half gallon of vodka will kill it.

      Get a peer-to-peer review! Your doctor can make the insurance company have an actual doctor determine whether or not it's medically necessary rather than an insurance agent. A peer-to-peer review goes through 99% of the time and has been the only way I've been able to get scans since I turned 18

      Yes I was told the same thing a year ago ! It’s sad and makes me angry at the same time . What are we supposed to do ?

        @Nana25 well nothing I guess. So if I have cancer , it won't be discharged untill it's too late. The health system in Florida is disgusting.

      I’m so sorry to hear this It is way to much to go though then to be told insurance won’t pay is extremely upsetting I’m sure your so down In the dumps I will pay that something will change for you It’s hard to stay up beat when your sick and need help that you deserve Lots of prayers for you
