Hi, so, school is starting soon and right now I'm at orientation, and I can't help but feel so anxious that I feel like I'm going to throw up. does anyone have any tips to help?

      So a nurse taught me a nifty little trick this week. Apparently when you start to get that nausea from anxiety or even illness you can hold an alcohol swab or wipe up to your nose. I’m not sure if it’s the cold or the smell or a combination but somehow it helps relieve that kind of nausea. Alcohol wipes are cheap and small enough to easily carry. I don’t know if it would work for you, but it might be worth giving it a shot. Hope you’re doing okay.

      When I'm anxious about a certain event I like to imagine the feeling I get when it's over with (relief). That helps me push through it typically.

      This happened to me yesterday also and it sucks bad. All I did was recite the lyrics to my favorite song (Snuff by slipknot) in my head.
