yes the frontline treatments are medications called biologics (sometimes referred to as tnf, JAK inhibitors. Common ones are enbrel, humira, etc. I’m on TREMFYA and was on stelara for years. They will likely put you on methotrexate too in the beginning. A good rheumatologist will help you switch your meds up if they do not help you significantly.
