Any MS Warriors who are teachers? I used to teach kindergarten but haven’t been teaching since my diagnosis. Thinking about going back but not sure if symptoms will get in the way.

Elementary school teacher here -- I haven't had many issues, and I work in a supportive environment where I have space to get things done in the ways that work best for me.

Hello I actually work with toddlers. It depends on the day if I’m good or not! I try not to show that sometimes I’m weak. My new boss is very understanding about my situation! I had a really bad relapse last year and I was out of work for 4 months in physical therapy but I’m much better now and I learned different techniques to stay calm and keep cool!

Hello I used to teach. I began forgetting my words and my principal ordered drug testing and began hovering. List of pressure, which made my condition worse. I had my go write me out and began seeing specialist to document for disability and applied and now I’m done! I miss it. After 28 years but the stressful environment was not working

I taught elementary for 7 years. I was diagnosed with RRMS and now trying to decide what I should do next. I have bad cognitive problems. The biggest one is memory. I don't think it would be fair to the kids if I went back, but I miss it. I have recently applied for disability, now just playing the waiting game. I have considered teaching online, but we'll see.
