why is it when a couple of my friends have similar disorders to me laugh at me because Mines worse or tell me to get over it it's not that bad or I shouldn't have that phobia Because it's natural and get over it. or my favorite one if I struggle with multiple different disorders why did u become a parent if u can't even human . which my disorders only act up in severe stress and fear and I feel lately I have been stressed for valid reasons. plus I'm severely ocd with food silverware and plates and such and I have always been laughed at for it.

I hate to say this and I'm only doing so because I've been in your shoes and after I finally realized what I had to do it absolutely helped immensely.... here it is.......... Those "FRIENDS" that laugh at you or tell you to get over it or turn your metal health issues into a competition are either masking their fear of what's wrong with them (no excuse to make you feel bad) or are just downright NOT a REAL friend. I've experienced both in my life and when I finally cut the certain ones loose I felt much better. I honestly only have 2 of what I consider true FRIENDS now. Quality is better than quantity when it comes to friends! I wish I would've learned that when I was younger. Now, family, that is a topic for another day lol. I am very biased when it comes to family not being true. Blood doesn't make you family. Maybe I'll talk more about that later. In short.... to the ones that make you feel bad about yourself, tell them jon from Ohio said to F*CK off and grow up. You are perfect the way you are and you don't need their's or anyone's stamp of approval! Keep your head up and keep smiling. If for nothing else just to make them wonder why YOUR happy

Your friends sound judgy AF. Sometimes people suppress their own pain and problems. When they do that, they become emotionally unavailable to support you with those kinds of pains and problems

Disease affects everyone differently, I think you need new friends.

I have found some folks have some weird need to compare illnesses/experiences with illness which is unhealthy and quite frankly gross. The analogy of no matter if someone is drowning in 6ft of water or 10ft both are still drowning, there’s no need to compare ever. You deserve safe people to be around and I’d either set clear standards/boundaries with those folks or cut them out.

You deserve to be surrounded by people who love and accept you for who you are. I don’t really have any close friends but I prefer that over crappy friends.

@Lucydee honestly same. I get so tired of fake friends
