Managing RLS Symptoms: Tips and Tricks

I actually started gabapentin for pain and found that it helped significantly with my RLS. when I do have episodes, I usually have my partner massage whatever muscles hurt the most, since I can't walk anymore to try to find relief that way. When I was a kid I used to literally fall asleep walking around, my mom would come into the kitchen to get ready for work and find me fast asleep, pacing around the kitchen table 😅

After augmenting on Tramadol I found an amazing neurologist who knows what she's doing with RLS. I've been off the tramadol and taking Methadone for about a year and a half now and I very rarely have symptoms anymore. I went from having it 24/7 in my whole body to almost no symptoms. It's been incredible and I agree with you. Do research and find a neurologist who specializes in RLS. The difference in treatment is night and day!

I've had RLS for several years now. I have a neurologist, am on 3 different meds , and I take magnesium to supplement. This manages my RLS . I suggest you get a neurologist to start . Without one, it's going to be hard to manage your symptoms. That's my advice. If I can help in any other way, let me know.
