Struggling with an Autism Diagnosis

I've had multiple professionals in my life suspect that I have autism, but my parents didn't believe that I had it and were abrasive about me getting psychological testing for it before. Yet they treat me as though I'm mentally handicapped in some ways and just say that my brain is "wired differently" than everyone else. I'm finally getting an intake to be tested for it in a few weeks because it seems to be the cause of my occupational struggles that makes the most sense. My parents seem more supportive now but they've just been very confusing as I was growing up. (Just needed somewhere to vent... I hope you're all having a good day/night.)
