My father in law who off his meds has barricaded himself in after pointing a gun at a cousin for no reason at all then threatening to shoot him,then point the gun at own his head. My husband and I live in ark they are in Louisiana. Cops are getting a warrant as he refuses to come out this start last night and we still don't know anything. The lieutenant told me he would not send his deputies in with him being armed with four guns and three aggressive German shepherds. They are getting a warrant and I don't think my father in law will be here for anymore holidays. The lieutenant said if he saw any gun they were open firing. So I am a little freaked out.
The entire family just wanted him to seek treatment as he was becoming more aggressive. Nobody expected him to barricade himself and do this or all scared he is about to take either death by suicide or take his own life

I am so sorry to hear this is going on in your life 💔 but remeber what you have control over and that even though he is unwell and something bad may happen doesn't make them a bad person. Treatment is only in recent years becoming a thing that helps and doesn't end up ostrisizing you from your community so I understand why he may not want treatment. These are BIG feelings and you are welcome to feel those wholy. ❤️
