@DragonLady47 also Zofran works well for nausea. It is a prescription, but there is also a disintegrating tablet form that you can dissolve under your tongue. I use it when my migraines get really bad. It tastes horrible but it works so very well.

Get a medical Marijuana card! You will be thanking God for the herb! 🙏Such a natural,organic way to stay off a bunch of meds,plus it will help you with your appetite! I have the same problem!

I’m sorry you’re going through this. If u need an ear, please reach out. ;
Well I went to pain management today and she got on me about my weight. The last time I went a month ago I weighed 106 and when I went today I only weighed 98 pounds she asked me if I was doing it on purpose and I explained to her that I had not. I explained to her about my depressive episode that I am in and told her that everytime I try to eat I either get sick or feel sick to my stomach. She suggested that I get Dramamine for the nausea so I am going to try and get it tomorrow. But any other suggestions are welcome

Do you like chocolate? I know not everyone does, which to me is simply weird 😊 but I know when I was in a very depressed state many yrs ago I knew the exact hill and tree I was going to use. But then I thought with my luck I would survive and become a huge burden on my family and I didn't want that. I went to Dairy Queen and the chocolatiest blizzard I could. Dark chocolate works best due to the chemical compounds in it, but milk chocolate will do

@sorenachy I have so much candy and junk food in my house it is unreal I get it from the place I volunteer at and I have tried eating it but can't plus I know I have at least 9 different types of cereal and I tried that and still only a bite or two
@DragonLady47 my heart goes out to you. Have you reached out to your doctor? I know it sounds cliche and you've probably heard it before, but they may be able to get you something to get you over this hump.
What about junk food or comfort food? Getting some calories in could help you gain some energy to problem solve and get some other food. I like to have some ice cream. My go to foods are granola and cereal because they are sweet and also have some vitamins. Eating is very top priority so please hang in there and try your best. I hope you can find more things to eat!
@JingleP 👍Sound advice Jingle.
Hi, Leese. If you are able, look into meal replacement drinks that will give you some or most of what your body needs. If you're not eating, you're not just losing weight, but you are also missing out on your other nutrional needs. Finding a medical professional to help with the depression is also really important. It's hard, but you can get through this. Just look at the people who care enough about you to take time to reply to your post. We are here for you, too.

I'm sorry you're going through this. Can u try to get a notebook 📓📒 and a pen. Write down what u think is making u depressed, then write a gratitude list. I also suffer from Anorexic (when I was about 14) nemothorax (4 times one in right and 3 in left lung when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter in 2001. It's when your lungs collapse and you have to have a chest tube put in), Depression, Anxiety, Separation Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), OCD (Over Cleaning Disorder), Panic Attacks, Manic Disorder or Attacks, H Pylori, (a stomach infection done by an upper Endoscopy), Scoliosis Acid Reflux Neuropathy Fibromyalgia allergies PID (Pelvic Infection Disease), Arthritis. I also go to a psychologist I would suggest go see when they have helped me out a lot and finally got me on the right medicine. Talk about it with someone u can trust. Pray to God spend time with God read your Bible and pray to Jesus. I'm praying for u hun. Also try some ensure drinks they help u gain weight n also a tablespoon of peanut butter a day put weight on u.
I'm sorry to hear you're going through this hard time I've learned that not eating makes depression worse. Please eat I know it's hard but you got to do it for yourself
I know if you happen to use medicinal marijuana it'll make you hungry. The other choices maybe eat many small bites throughout a period of time? Somethin's better n' nothin
@SweetTea77 I can't use any type of marijuana because I am in a pain management program for help with pain from a born with condition.
@DragonLady47 how about fruit? Sometime something cool or chilled like that helps?
Leese I'm truly so very sorry that your having to go through that, is there anyone close to you that you can confide in? Your right to be concerned but I also deep inside you have the strength to overcome this, it just feels you don't right now.
@niceshyguy unfortunately I don't have anyone to confide in because they never had to go through this. I had one person say did you take your meds and another person said that I should talk to it and tell it I don't accept this in my life and the last person acted like I should not be depressed and almost like the problem should not exist
