My best friend is an Alcoholic and today...today she even crossed the line with me. I know most of the stuff she says is from alcohol I know its demon. She has been struggling so bad. I can't so anything anymore...and tonight she just said something so incredibly hurtful to me it's kinda hard to look pass. I of course don't wanna lose my friendship with her. She's like a sister to me. I'm just feeling a lil crushed when it comes from someone who is your bestie and someone you been through so much through....it really just was a stab to my heart. šŸ„ŗšŸ˜¢

I'd try talking with her first and setting a boundary to ask her not to drink around you because it can be hurtful for you. If she doesn't respect that boundary and refuses to get help there's unfortunately nothing you can do beyond that point... Just try to look out for yourself the best you can. It's possible to mourn her and her situation whilst trying to help yourself

It's understandable that you're feeling hurt by your best friend's actions and words. It's important to remember that alcohol can significantly impact a person's behavior and judgment. Try to have an open and honest conversation with her when she is sober, expressing your feelings and concerns about her alcohol use and how it's affecting your friendship. Offer support and encourage her to seek help if needed. Remember to take care of yourself as well during this difficult time.
