Inclusion Week Gone Wrong: My Experience with Autism Awareness

Can you speak to a trusted teacher? I'm a teacher on the spectrum and I'd be livid if my school did this.

Write to the superintendent. They are more likely to be able to do something about it and keep other schools in the district from participating too.

I get that, we dont have those luckily but we have an autism speaks bench at school that makes me super uncomfortable.

you should definitely talk to the principal about it if you can/feel comfortable, maybe bring an essay or slide show on why autism speaks is incorrect?
