I'm not sure how this app works, or if this gets sent as a message or a post, but I've been struggling with my PCOS lately. These dark skin patches are absolutely horrid! Anyone know how to get rid of them, stop them or anything?

I would suggest to use mineral sunscreen to stop them getting worse. So when you use medication to treat it, it will work better.

If you’re talking about melasma it can be stubborn but a dermatologist should be able to suggest some things that may help. I follow a few dermatologists on Instagram and it comes up all the time :-)

Thank you, I'll definitely ask my doctor about that!! He previously told me there's nothing that can be done, but what you say proves otherwise!

My dermatologist prescribed me tretinoin ointment. I use it just about every other day. It does make your skin flaky but you're good with lotion if that happens.
