I have been taking Lamictal for about 6 months. Does anyone take Metoclopramide (anti-enemetic) for nausea and vomiting side effects?

Hi there! I've been on Lamictal for ~5 yrs now, and have taken metoclopramide (Reglan) in the past. However, I mostly took it for acid reflux & delayed gastic emptying issues caused by a preexisting condition - totally unrelated to being on Lamictal. While Reglan did alleviate some general GI discomfort, I personally didn't find it helpful for nausea/vomiting. My Dr. eventually switched me to ondansetron (Zofran), which has worked much better for my nausea/vomiting symptoms (incl. nausea from med side effects). That said, everyone reacts to meds differently and YMMV! It's worth noting that Reglan isn't usually prescribed for long term use bc there's a higher risk of tardive dyskinesia. From my understanding, TD is a nervous system disorder that causes involuntary facial/body movements, and can sometimes be irreversible. Zofran is safe for long term use, and I've taken it for 4+ yrs w/o any issues so far.
