Hi everyone! I've been struggling with Anorexia for over 10 years now, but finally got diagnosed in 2020. I'm working hard to recover, as I'm now at a concerning weight, but I've struggling with getting myself to eat and getting my body to agree with me (most times I feel automatically sick after eating, even if it's a tiny bite when I'm hungry). Does anybody else experience this and if so, any tips?

I deal with the same thing and it’s so frustrating :( because you know you have to eat but you’re not hungry and feel sick. I don’t have any advice, but you’re not alone in this. I’ve never heard of smelling an alcohol swab. I’ll have to try it out
Yes! I experience this also. I learned in treatment that I was getting sick after every meal because my stomach had shrunk quite a bit and couldn't hold as much food which causes nausea. Whenever you feel sick, I recommend keeping an alcohol swab and take a deep breath while smelling it and it helps a lot. Or use peppermint of some kind and just sniff it. I'm not a doctor obviously but that's what I have learned since being diagnosed.
