Diagnosed as a young mother with dissociative disorder. now I am 73 and depressed over my illness and how it has negatively impacted my life. how do I cope?

      It's not easy at any age to be diagnosed with this. But if therapy is not an option. Look inward focus on your self for a time. Find out what your others need and try and meet those needs. Some system members need to talk about their trauma and that's enough. Others need things in their life to make them feel safe. When everyone's on the same page depression and anxiety around the condition tend to subside. Or so has been the case for myself and others I have spoken to

      Therapy could be helpful, if it's an option for you! If not, there's loads of online counseling options- I personally recommend 7Cups
