Struggling with Depression and Recovery After Surgery

Are you able to go for short distant walks around the block… can you get to a local park with a book you like, try to get outside and get some sun., it will help so much!

I can relate I have really bad knee and ankle issue right now and couldn’t walk for a week. I also feel depressed stuck in bed. Its hard to sit for me in my head without keeping busy. I have surgery in a few weeks so I get even more down thinking I will be out.

My depression sometimes glue me to the bed and I feel without purpose. No need to get dress there's no where to go, sometimes I don't clean shower or eat... Then I have my manic days.

Yes, I don't drive and walking is painful due to severe osteoarthritis. I'm here if you want to talk❤️
