What do you think about asthma?

Am 12 and I had asthma since I was born it gets hard to breathe and when I get a anxiety / panic attack it feels like am dieing and it's really hard with school and people and I've been getting them more often

I have never been told it was all in my head. When I have problems I have extreme chest pains. It feels almost like a heart attack pain. When that happens my inhaler does not touch it. Plus the inhaler makes me to jittery and shaky. The only thing that does help is icy hot rub.

They do they same thing to me. People say things like " calm down you're just imagining it" and utter bull like that. I get asthma attacks really often and then I get an anxiety attack and it's like, I can't breathe x100

A lot of people try to tell me that asthma is no big deal, it's all in my head, etc. It's not, when I'm having an attack it often causes a panic attack as well. Not being able to breathe feels sets in a terror that is so hard to explain
