I'm hoping to get some tips on how to be productive around the house when you're in constant pain and can barely stay awake. It feels like I'm failing miserably.

I don’t have kids but I do have 4 birds and 2 cats. My advice is lost of lists. Wishlist first the night before, then take that list abs make it more practical based on your pain level that day. Do only one thing or part of a thing then rest. Repeat a few times then rest longer. Then maybe try again in the late afternoon

I have a little one so I understand. Between my EDS and my son it near impossible to get anything done. I used to wait till I have a good day then do a bunch of stuff. I don't recommend it I'd feel terrible the next day. I've been trying to do small bits day to day whatever you can that day some days it might only be putting dishes in the dish washer and nothing else other days you won't be able to do anything at all and that's okay. Don't feel bad for something out of your control.

But don’t be hard on your self. We have to accept what we have try our best and if we can’t get anything done it’s ok. We have to be good to ourselves/our body because if not it will effect us emotionally and then now your adding more stress to your body. I’m sending you a big hug. Your not alone and I’m telling you as a mom your doing doing your best and that’s all you can give.
I have two little ones and it’s tough. I am such a task person I creat a list of things that need to be don’t but when I am having bad days I have to throw that list out the window. We put a lot of work into having our kids clean their room, pick up all their toys, do their bed and clean the table after dinner. It was exhausting at first but now it’s much easier, now they know it’s a routine and they are contributing to keeping their home clean. Our kids are 6 and 5, teaching them to help out is good for them and helpful to moms. My kids know when I don’t feel good and I tell them I have to take my meds (makes me loopy) so they just stay and play in the living room while I lay down.

Hi! I can really relate, it's terrible, which painkillers have you tried?

Thank you, It's hard because I live with 3 boys that refuse to pick up after themselves, lol.
First of all don’t be hard on yourself.. I take NSAIDs when I suffer from pain and muscle relaxants. I also try to do everyday 1-2 tasks at most and not to place a huge burden on myself. There no shame in getting some help too
