We are the smp system and my main question is does it get better than this? because I've never seen someone have 5 or more disorders and actually manage them.

I don’t have DID, but including my physically illnesses I have five. I work a fulfilling job that pays $13 and hour and I work 18 hours a week. I have two roommates and help from my grandma which I’m very privileged to have. When I no longer have that I have multiple things to bring in other income. I have a good life now. I live with my loving non abusive partner and I can’t tell you how freeing that is. That’s what I hope for you and your system, a good life. You deserve it.

Yes it is supposed to get better I am still searching for right meds but Dbt therapy helped and a sound support system also educating family friends and yourself is useful to me. Best of luck

I used to ask myself the same question, and yes, it does get better. Being diagnosed with a lot of issues is hard, but things can and will get better over time. Therapy can be useful, as well as finding the right meds and having a good support circle.

It's difficult but VERY possible! I am doing very well with my alphabet soup of diagnosis. Find a therapist and a doctor that will TRULY listen to you! I STRONGLY suggest a Trauma informed therapist if you can find one!
