Hi! I am classified as obese. I have tried so many diets, and I've been on phentermine for over two years (even though it's only supposed to be for short term use). my primary recently started me on ozempic, which is supposed to be great for weight loss even though I'm not diabetic. And my gynecologist suggested a gastric sleeve. has anyone had experience with ozempic for weight loss or a gastric sleeve? what was your experience? would you recommend it or not?

I was on Ozempic which was Wonderful for appetite. I felt like a normal person for once in my life! But... If you do not keep to a strict small meal plan, it will back your stomach up worse and it caused ear and sinus issues because my meals needed to be smaller. My insurance will not pay now.

There are so many benefits to the gastric sleeve. My sister had it done and she says best decision she ever made. She has talked with me about it, says the hardest part is sticking to the nutrition plan and portion control afterwards. She is now 2 years out and is maintaining her goal weight.

@bummblebee how much weight did she lose and how quickly?
