Who has a good way of dealing with the chronic pain without pain killers? I eat and take a lot of the natural things they help of course, but my pain is getting more intense.
Chronic Generalized pain
I absolutely love my oska pulse it’s a pemf (pulsed electromagnetic frequency device) and it consistently and quickly knocks out pain nothing else can. It’s expensive like really expensive but for me beyond worth the investment. It’s electromagnetic waves change the way water moves in and out of cells so it can dehydrate you though so be careful to drink extra water.
Uive heard of that does insurance cover those I wonder?
my insurance did not cover it. I couldn’t afford the device but my dad purchased it for me. Worth checking with your insurance though. I don’t think the company takes insurance but maybe your insurance company would reimburse you?
I second PEMF helps so much and is really expensive but worth it! I do find if pain is really bad it can increase it while I’m using it but in the long run it helps my overall pain levels. I live on infrared heating pads. UTK brand on Amazon or biomat. Best purchase I’ve ever made and the only thing that really helps drastically with the pain. Best pain supplement I’ve found is PEA (comfort max from life extension) helps decrease pain receptors and bring down inflammation but is similar structure to adderall so research if it’d be good for you first. It helps me be less irritable when pain is especially bad. I was doing cryotherapy for a while and that really helped but lately it’s been way too much for me to drive to do that consistently.
what’s the theory behind the infrared heating pad? Does this work better than a regular heating pad?
that's kinda what I was wondering also
infrared penetrates the body with heat whereas a typical heating bad is just heating the surface.
A typical heating pad also puts off a lot of “dirty” EMF (electromagnetic frequencies) so the heat is generated from electricity and can harm your health by interfering with cell electrical functioning (same as if you had your phone next to your head sleeping and woke up with a headache). Sounds strange but there is science behind good/bad EMF for the body.
So EMF that comes of of infrared heating pads are “good” similar to EMFs that come from nature which recharges the cells in your body- the heat is produced by infrared light wave lengths thru the materials of the heating pad (stones/crystals) which generates heat by way of electricity. Similar to a rock being heated from the sun’s rays. Since it can penetrate the body it actually helps increase circulation to help the body heal and reduce pain by helping to clear out the body the inflammation stuck in an area.
Infrared light is part of suns wavelengths most active around sunrise and sunset. If you’ve ever noticed the feeling of the sun around those times feels warm, soothing, energizing versus the middle of the day, the infrared light is what you’re feeling.
Hopefully this helps explain it but if not there is a lot of research available that may do a better job. Highly recommend infrared heat!!!
I use ice pack when I don’t want to take my pain killer’s medicine
