ok so I have a ? I have insulin resistance pcos an I take 2,000 mg of metformin. been taking it more then a yr. my periods are really crazy. I have one for a few months skip a month or two then have a period a couple times then stop again. I also am trying to get pregant. I have 2 girls 7 an 9 an I been trying for 4 years to get preg an I cant my husband has diabetes type 2. an he has no kids. an does ov kits work when u have pcos. I also take prometruim 200 mg an I still won't get preg. help what can I do

My periods were the same. I would go months without getting my period. Which caused me to not find out I was pregnant until 4 months in. Honestly had no other symptoms except smells that didn't bother me before were intensified. 7 years later I was diagnosed with diabetes. My new Dr put me on Actos, without any "warning". My PCP didn't say anything either... But within 2 weeks I was pregnant.(I found out later that Actos is often prescribed for PCOS patients trying to conceive.
