Does Hydroxizine HCL Help with Sleep?

Doesn’t help me fall asleep but reduces my bedtime anxiety

I take it for anxiety. but I have an extremely high med tolerance. I take it at bed time though. but it doesn't make me sleepy or anything it was just easier for me to remember to take it with my other meds

No. Though I seem to be the minority here, I take 100mg spread out throughout the day for MCAS. It doesn't help me sleep and doesn't touch the anxiety.

I would, because my doctor wanted me to take it twice a day for anxiety, but it only knocked me out. So I just took it at bedtime. Worked great, but I always made sure I'd be getting at least eight hours.

I've been taking 100 mg at night before bed for a few months. Hasn't helped a lot but I suppose there has been a small improvement.

I’m prescribed it for anxiety but I pretty much only take it for sleep because it works lol
