What are some things such as fabrics trigger you? Like all my clothes have to be cotton and my bed sheets can't be bally (apparently it's called pilling, idk Google it). On the flip side, what are some sensory things that make you happy? Like frost on the grass or sand.

Bras and anything with sequins stitched to the inside are the worst. And some tags bug me a lot. I can't wear crew neck shirts, they have to be off my neck. I absolutely love my squishmallows, foam pillows, lightweight cotton is my favorite for clothes

I cannot do petroleum based (plastic, ex. polyester, acrylic) fibers at all. Fuzzy/fleece/microfiber is the literal worst. My partner has a microfiber blanket that he refuses to get rid of. It is old and gross and the stuffing is matted. The fuzz feels "sticky" to me, I can't even touch it. I'll get another blanket to move it off his bed. I have recently discovered that cotton velvet and velour are things, which marks the first time I've been able to enjoy "fuzzy" stuff. I want soft things so, so badly, but I always end up hating them if they're plastic. Target has a few cotton/linen collections now, sometimes my partner takes me there just to touch them all. And maybe a weird one -- "barefoot" shoes on really any soft/uneven surface. The extra sensory input makes me so happy, but super flat/hard stuff gives me a weird tingly feeling and also makes my feet sore after a while. Best so far was some thick pine needles when we were in Colorado, they squished and crunched under my feet.

Jeans, bras, anything even the slightest bit itchy, I have to cut tags out

I absolutely despise that one microfiber texture thing that looks soft and Fluffy and it feels so rough and hard and just horrible. Also those plushies with the heart tags that look so soft and cuddly but are all hard on the inside and the hard plastic eyes always poke at you. i hate those so much. On the other hand, squishmallows are also the best most amazing texture and feeling in the world and THE best pillow. fight me. And those certain types of blankets that are so fuzzy and just aaaaaaaaa

@dandelion_flower I absolutely LOVE squishmallows! They are hands down one of the nicest textures in the world.

Denim, it feels so awkward against my skin. I need everything to be silk, cotton or flannel.

Wool is very itchy for me. I can't stand it. Also regardless of fabric type, I can't have tags against my neck. I used to like all of my clothes to be fitted, it was a sensory thing but since I gained weight I feel like a fat cow and need everything to be loose. 🥲 Snow is a sensory thing that makes me happy. Also my weighted blanket has a fabric, I think it's called minky. And Squishmallows are the best feeling! I don't know what the exterior is or what they're stuffed with but they're great. And music, as someone else mentioned.

Jeans and bras make me angry, lol. I compromise for work by buying the outdated skinny jeans that provide more stretch. Truth be told, I prefer baggy, soft clothing. Cotton can be difficult as well, but it is easier to find softer cotton mixes now. I absolutely must have a SOFT blanket to wrap up in when home. All year round. When too many washings make the blanket less soft, I donate it to an animal shelter and buy a new one. Sweatshirts and sweatpants or pajama pants get replaced just the same. I love the sand, view of snow and Xmas lights!

@EliteLexy And music is my emotional processing/sensory delight!
