I've realized recently I have bad rejection sensitivity. I know it can be blown up by emotional dysregulation but it's really starting to effect my life. Does any one have any tips or tricks to help manage it?
Sorry no I'm going to the same thing and and go to therapy my counselor don't even know how to address it Good luck let me know if you're find anything about it
I've been the same way my whole life, so I totally understand how you feel. And, if I'm being honest, I don't know if there are any quick tricks you could pull to make things easier. One thing that does help, with some effort, is good communication. Once I made my friends aware of my rejection sensitive dysphoria, they were immediately receptive and open to how they could help. Just remember that this isn't an embarrassing thing to admit (that was definitely a problem I had), these are your real emotions and they deserve just as much respect as anyone's! ❤️
I know I'm answering my own question here but I found a video today that has really helped me put things into perspective and figured it would help others here too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jM3azhiOy5E
