I have a dissociative disorder but my alters don't have names. I know they are me but I am in the backseat watching them a lot. I told my wife about having this condition for the first time yesterday. She says sorry but I don't feel like it's a sorry kind of thing. Yeah it sorta sucks missing huge chunks of time but I love to let the other ones take control so I can check out. Anyways I am still very uncomfortable talking about this subject. I just wanted to post something

Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)

Been there! I have like 12 personalities that have names and then a butt ton more without names. When I first told my wife it scared her pretty bad. Sometimes when it's hard to understand exactly what it feels like, it's difficult to fully grasp, and except, that something is happening. Even to this day I have people that have looked at me and said I don't act like anyone they know that has DID. If you keep working through it with your wife you will be able to tell that she is actually, truthfully, sorry you have gone through all the trials and tribulations that formed your personalities.
