New to this app, feeling quite lost and wanted to reach out. How did y'all find what you wanted to do in life? Or if you're still deciding, are you scared/ anxious/ depressed?

I ask myself this question 100 times a day. My moods change so quickly it may be 100 different life goals for the day. But yet I get none of them accomplished.

very much still deciding. about to go to cosmetology school, but im not sure if thats gonna end up being my official profession. plus my mental health been getting worse so.. im tryna put myself first
heck to the heckin yeah!! I LOVE that attitude! For a while I really wanted to be a therapist or a psychologist of some sort for that same reason, I just know I personally would get so emotionally attached it would be bad š¤·š¼āāļø plus I really love spirituality and I believe in it wholeheartedly and I really want to get into things like reiki and healing of that sort. I've always wanted to have my own little garden and grow my own herbs so that I could make herbal remedies for people š¤ just now you've got someone in your corner rooting for you! Go get those dreams!!!!
Iām scared but Iām somehow carving a path as I go. Right now Iām a senior in high school. It is an art school but recently I discovered that I donāt want to do art. Itās a hobby yeah but I just donāt see myself doing it as a career. Iām more invested in medical stuff. I find myself researching various disorders at like 12 am because I just find it really interesting lol. Even bought a neuroscience book! Iām hoping to study biology in college to help people like me in the future š Itās hard because people say that itās impossible to be a doctor when youāre disabled. But thatās not true! Iām here to prove them wrong >:)

@D3stiny the message above is for you I forgot to tag you lol
@Theafae haha I see it! Having two jobs that make you misirable is just spiraling you down another path thatās not gonna end well for your mental health. I suggest, (and I know it sounds corny) to do what you love. Iām serious because if you keep doing this itās gonna make you feel even worse. If you want to sell crystals okay! Thatās fine do whatever makes you happy. Youāll feel much better I promise
Funny enough I dropped out of college as well due to my mental health issues and I'm working two jobs that make me miserable. I think I have a plan though even though everyone in my life tells me it's stupid and that it won't actually bring me happiness. I feel like I get persuaded a lot and to doing things that don't make me happy because other people tell me its what should be. I know what I meant to do is be on the road and selling crystals and connecting with other people, learning healing and how to be free and let go of the fear that's been holding me back my whole life. I'm saving up for a van now, and my friend is going to come with me! He's been on the road most of his life and my best friend for 4 years. I just always end up second guessing myself, I'm trying to hold firm this time for myself. Fingers crossed. Also it's so refreshing to hear other people understand š„ŗ

I had all these giant hopes and dreams, I got a full ride to a private college in my dream major. Unfortunately due to my mental health I dropped out. I had a BPD episode after some bad news and just dropped out impulsively. I regret it every day and now I feel like Iām never gonna reach the goals I set for myself when I was younger. Iām miserable working to part time jobs that donāt make me happy and I feel like Iām gonna be stuck with stupid jobs forever
@Anxiousboarderline hey we seem to be quite alike, and iāve also recently dropped out to focus on my mental health so i can relate for sure. feel free to message me!!
