Facing My First Colonoscopy: Anxious and Scared

I have mine coming up on Aug 9th. I'm so nervous.

Procedure is nothing to worry about, they use a small tip camera to look in your colon, looking for anything abnormal... the solution you have to take before the procedure is the worse for me, you'll be just fine 🤗

I’m over age 50. I’ve had one. The worst part of it was the bowel prep. I felt like I pooped my life out. LOL! As for the procedure, you won’t feel it. The doctor will give you something to relax you and make you aware. Before you know it, they’ll be asking you how you’re feeling. Technology is advanced these days, you’ll get to see pictures d you inside and if they see anything initially interesting, they’ll tell you and you’ll go from there. If all clear, they’ll tell you when you come back. I hope that helps. Do take care!
