I want my family to try to understand more and not judge me and act like I’m crazy for having schizophrenia and other mental illnesses too. They act like I’m crazy and it feels awful

Probably like how my girlfriend and sister acted when we were camping. We we're on a hike through the woods and due to being away from the place I had gotten a routine in I found myself forgetting to take the meds. Anyways while going through the woods I had a nice walking stick that I had taken and sharpened the end of. I was walking in front of them both and I look down toward my hand (I don't know why) and I saw a huge black spider with a white shape on its back. I threw the stick down and yelled "you can have it!" It fell into a cleanish part of the trail that if something crawled off of the stick we would have saw it. My sister "who was already used to this just went over to the stick and picked it up and looked over it." My girlfriend who knew I had siciz just kinda stood behind me silent then joined my sister looking over the stick. My sister eventually looked up at me and said "what happened?" I said there was a spider on the stick. She said that it wasn't there now and after letting me look over it while she held it. I graped it and went to continue walking as if nothing happened. But that apparently wasn't the end of the episode because then I became hiperaware of everything sounds were louder and I had the intense feeling of being chased. I went to start running for the end of the trial we were only halfway in to the two hour hike I could have turned around but in that moment that wasn't in my mind I only saw one way to go. We eventually made it out of the woods and I guess finally the episode stopped. I kenlt down finally realizing that I made what was supposed to be a fun hike very unfun because of my illness. However instead of my girlfriend and sister being mad my girlfriend just placed her hand on my shoulder and my sister just helped me up and we walked back to the camp site. They didn't freak out when I did, they didn't just say nothing was wrong, they didn't try to stop me from trying to get out of the woods as fast as possible, and lastly they didn't blame me for ruining the hike. That's how I would like to be treated when I'm having an episode.
