Understanding it and having a support system that is Understanding. Instead of being ashamed of your disease let people you interact with i.e people you work with, friends and family know that you have it and explain it to them. Then when you are raging or breaking down in your depression etc, they're more Understanding of things you may do or say. Luckily I have a best friend who has every single diagnosis I have so she really understands. My husband tries but he is very healthy mentally, emotionally and physically so he doesn't REALLY understand but for 20 years he has put up with it. I have a giant fear that one day he'd going to just get fed up with it and leave.

a combo of medication and therapy helped me the most. i have been able to pinpoint my triggers and also understand how my brain functions a little better :)

First I find out what triggers it, then I try my best to avoid it or communicate with the other person that I’m uncomfortable. For example I get my social anxiety by invitations to hang out, so I would tell my friends I don’t want to and they’d understand. As for bpd it’s a mix. Whenever I have my rage episodes it’s usually because of jealousy or just simply being overwhelmed. I then apologize and talk about why I felt the way I felt. The person usually understands and tries to avoid talking about it in the future

you just have to be understanding with yourself and try your best to know that you process things differently
