I have the IUD Skyla, it made my period shorter although i still feel pain. The insertion wasnt so bad! I took some painkillers before and it felt a little bit unpleasant but only for a couple of minutes.

I use Sprintec (pill) but I take it continuously for three months and then have my period.
The nexplanon helped the first year, but it made my periods show up every 3 months for 3 weeks. I eventually had It taken out to have kids, and I recently got it again. It was terrible the 2nd time (which a lot of people say) so I just had it taken out again and I will never go back on birth control.
Nothing helped me. I had surgery. That's the only thing that helped and I'm getting everything taken out next year
I cant even have sex anymore it's been over a month
I'm honestly sick of having any form of birth control, I've been on it since I was 15. I'm scared of an IUD because I have an extremely terrible time with anything even touching my female bits inside
I also have endometriosis and pcos so I was very hesitant about a new birth control but it helped me the most was the iud and the nuvaring
I have the Mirena iud, it caused a long period initially but after my body got used to it a bit like 1 month it thinned out and by 3 months after my periods stopped altogether. I no longer get periods or cramps or bloating, but around the time I would be having my period i get acne. Hope this helps. The insertion process is simple and not very painful it's kinda like a cramp that lasts a few minutes but breathe through it and it's fine.
Iud helped me the most for three years but after so long it started to fall out of place which usually never happens so I switched to nuvaring and it works magic you still have a period but it's mostly the same every month and the pain isn't there at all it helped me alot but only if you are comfortable shoving a ring into your vagina as far as you can push it in
