At least 3 years of going to drs for symptoms that in retrospect I KNOW were lupus related. But possibly up to about 7 years. I just can’t be sure if the symptoms in the 3-7 year before diagnosis range were lupus related or not.

I went to several doctors because of my various problems (neurologist for my headaches, dermatologist for my rash and orthopaedic for my joint pain), and every specialist treated me only in his field. My pcp was the one to connect the dots, and he referred me to a rheumatologist
