With anxiety, is it normal to be in a constant state of guilt? Or feeling as if you have done something wrong and karma will soon get you?

It sounds like therapy would be something really beneficial for you! Maybe there is something you will discover in your sessions that will shut those thoughts down

I've been full of anxiety for months. Trying to fight my way out of this by relying on God. I take no med I did ask my doctor but of course a controlled substance was a no. So..I suffer with nothing. Is there anything that helps an anxious mind and insomnia because of it since doctors won't help. In my 50s.

@Corduroy is there a specific way to cope with this feeling?

@linaweena I’d just recommend the general approach of accepting the feelings instead of trying to run away from them. Figuring out where those thoughts are coming from or what they’re reacting to can help you see them as your mind trying to help but getting in the way. Also, it’s not your fault, and I’m proud of you for reaching out for help
