      I only have a few times and only started to a few weeks ago. I feel almost guilty because I promised myself I never would after how traumatizing it was to deal with an alcoholic who would abuse me. I don't want to turn out like them. But getting drunk is so much fun, even if it is only temporary.

      Yes and I still do it. I still live with abuser so I definitely numb the pain in anyway I can.

        @Scullyitsme I am so sorry you have to live with your abuser. I lived with my abuser and it was hell. I definitely used drugs and alcohol to cope. I am away and sober now, but it was one of the worst times of my life.
