@HotmessTiti me too. Makes me a little sleepy and helps soothe me out of the panic zone. I didn’t take them for a long time because i was nervous but there was really no point in waiting they work well for me and i don’t have to take them often or find myself like “craving” them or whatever

was not enough to calm me down when i needed help. i switched to clonazepam which has worked so much better.

@GaryC I do know how you feel. I've had mine for months.

I take them I'm on .25 and only take half at a time and it's just enough to take the edge off and help me calm down

@GaryC Maybe try it that way and break one in half and see how it works for you?

Hey. I love God and believe in the blessings too. To answer your question, yes I have taken Ativan ( Lorazapam) months at a time. They can make us feel drowsy etc. but the point is alleviating the symptoms of anxiety. It's a short acting benzodiazipam, so don't worry about long term effects.

It didn't help me. They switched me to Clonazepam.

@GaryC I told my doc how I was feeling and right away he said oh yeah those are panic attacks, I'll give you something for them. He didn't say what he was calling in. An hour later I'm leaving the pharmacy with Xanax. Like what the heck?
