So I had a lower back MRI which showed 2 disc bulges and bone marrow infiltration. Does anybody know what that could mean? My hematologist said it’s nothing to be worried about but I’m like…. What is that.

@Miyuki so the discs are probably what’s causing that. PT should be able to help. If your doctor isn’t being receptive find a new one!

I’m not sure about the bine marrow, but bulging discs are tricky. They only matter if you have symptoms, especially pain going down the legs. I’m that case it isn’t nothing since it’s causing pain! However if you don’t have back pain and/or pain down your legs it’s nothing to worry about! But since you had an MRI I’m guessing there is a pain component?

@Belugabear is I have some pretty bad back pain that radiates down to my legs
