About a year and a half ago I used to be rather active and would do kickboxing at a facility called 9round. I did it pretty regularly for about two to three months to help counteract an onset of depression that I fell into due to a toxic relationship I was stuck within. I ended up doing inpatient assistance for my depression. Once I got out, I did work out for a bit more, but then I got a cat for my anxiety and much preferred the life of morning cuddles to getting up early to workout. I really want to get back into being at least somewhat physically active again, but the membership I had is too expensive. I have the opportunity to use the gym at my college but I get anxiety working out around others. Does anyone have any tips or ideas for starting to workout again motivation wise for someone with barely any experience work-out wise and would like to possibly do more home workouts without equipment? What do you do if you workout from home and how do you get the motivation to even workout?
