(Literally just posted in this topic omfg, I’m sorry;;) but do any of you find that you can sometimes, if rarely, have “good” days? Whatever that may mean for you I’d love to know, but for me I consider it being a little bit ok with deviating from a specific plan of restriction and schedule. I don’t feel proud of it at all, but on “good” days I won’t lay in misery crying over it and losing my absolute mind, my mental punishment won’t feel as strong. However…I still find myself needing to compensate for these “good” days hence why I use quotes cause it’s like even though I let myself eat outside a specific plan or eat at all, it’s not complete freedom since I still feel wrong for it after awhile. Anyways though this was much longer than intended, I just wanted to know if anyone has felt a similar way or have had any times they considered “good” in some way but not exactly recovered? I can feel quite invalid for it or like a faker because of these times and how stereotypical Anorexia experiences consistently are represented

@Kaiiyla Exactly, most people will say “just eat”, but it really isn’t that easy and actually makes things much worse.

I’ll go through periods of times when I’m able to eat without completely panicking over it, however - after those times I’ll spiral deeper into my ED, due to the guilt of letting myself recover even the tiniest bit. It’s and awful cycle, really

@Eddyy that is exactly how I feel..it’s like the more days you kind of let yourself go the darker your headspace gets and the more you want control. I find it makes me more depressed than it does happy or accomplished, sadly
