Make a list of the things you can and can't do. Ex. I can't stand all day. I can sit all day. I may be fit for a desk job. Note* The desk jobs that open up most frequently are receptionist jobs. Then the rule of thumb: it never hurts to ask, it only hurts to give up or not try at all. Ex. Cashier: I can't stand all day, but they let me bring a stool.
I was in the same boat until I got hired at a local place part time, fortunately they understand my health. My advice is look into good remote jobs like Amazon reps, Healthcare insurance jobs, etc. You'll want something low key starting out so your body doesn't stress. A local eye care center, a library, or even a business that has a sit down desk job like Dot Foods
