Our brains are our worst enemy sometimes
I have chronic stress and anxiety, and this happens to me. Even when I'm calm, I'm still really stressed. I can't really describe it, but it drives me crazy
@SalRose well i was stressed before that happened but i mean when i panicked i was still calm

Sounds like you’re learning to control it 💕
Sounds like you may have been experiencing dissociation, which can feel out of body, numb, and detatched. It's different for everyone and can be scary for sure. I've also had moments where I'm panicking/begging inside for it to stop but my body just isn't reacting. Try some grounding exercises next time, the ones spiritlady23 mentioned are a good place to start. The 5-4-3-2-1 anxiety exercise and the mindfulness body scan exercise may be useful, too. For me, dissociation is caused mostly by intense stress or anxiety and so mindfulness helps Not sure if that is what you're going through but if it is know that it is most likely your brain trying to protect you in its own way from overwhelm, even if it may feel alarming

@Lunarr i felt out of body yes and i panicked a little but the thing was i was calm my my heart wasn’t beating fast or nothing just calm
@ceyana Yeah that's what I meant with "body just isn't reacting", sorry if that was unclear! It's a purely mental sensation, like your brain is seperated from your body - no physical panic attack symptoms, just mental anguish in a numb and "relaxed" body lol. You said you were stressed before it happened which lends itself to my dissociation theory, intense stress can lead to it which is why I recommended the above grounding exercises
@ceyana i was stressed out before that happened but when i panicked i was calm it felt like no reason to panic
And then call moble mental health and talk about it
Focus on a object in your home all the details of it and colors then do deep breathing ten times while counting to ten
Well describe what you were panicking about. Because I'm trying to make sense of it myself
@Schpamp i felt like i was out of body that’s why i started panicking
