So I haven’t been officially diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. But my therapist said I am which is accurate because I’m having my first big episode i think I’ve had some depressive episodes growing up but I have never crashed fro such highs. Focusing is for the birds at this point work is hard because I’m freaking exhausted from being high and low. My Dad and Aunt are both bipolar. My aunt is getting treatment my dad is not. I don’t know. It’s just rough.

I agree with otterlydevoted1, being diagnosed is actually a good thing because it's a step toward finding what's right for you and how to treat yourself now knowing that you have this disease. Everyone is different and it's great that you go to therapy so you can find out if you need medication or not. Hang in there and be patient with yourself

Hang in there bipolar when treated is not a life sentence to highs and lows
