Does anyone else get debilitating cramps where you can’t stand up straight/hurts to walk. I take extra strength ibuprofen but don’t want to be dependent on meds. I work in an optometrist office and I am on my feet for hours and being in pain makes it difficult. any tips to help relieve these cramps without medicine?

Portable TENS machines (Livia, etc.) are a less popular but still effective option you might not have tried. Livia is affordable and works well but they didn’t send me any of my subscription packages after my initial package. I hear there’s a really nice one, but I forgot the brand name.

YES! I’ve found the Noha device from Ovira to be quite helpful in times like these! It’s drug free pain relief:) Its not a fix by any means, but it does help to take the edge off! Sorry you’re going through this! Sending love 💕

Heat helps so much. I had no idea that there is a strap on heating pad, that would be so helpful! Thank you!

If heat helps you, they make heating pads that you can strap to your stomach and they're battery powered! Otherwise, maybe look into getting a mobility aid? I use a cane on bad days and it helps!

I also take Advil when my pain is bad. I know it's not the best but being in such pain sucks.. If it's not on a daily basis I think it worth taking painkillers to improve our lives.

Heating pads that you can put on your belly for a couple of minutes, chamomile tea because it helps calm cramps and also you can try to do accupunture on a regular basis.
