What does remission from Crohn's feel like?

i've been in remission off and on since i was also about 12. it feels nice to not have to deal with symptoms but i do feel like in the past i took it for granted which meant i stopped taking care of myself like i should have. i really do feel like a different person and it felt like my mental health improved and a whole new part of the world opened up to me. unfortunately i'm bad with taking medication which is super not good and then i get sick again which is also super not good. it's very much something to work very hard towards which feels impossible when you're right in the middle of it. i hope the best for you and that you'll be able to experience who you can truly be without the stress of crohns, everyone deserves to live life fully. sending love and support 💕
