Hi, I’m Sammy, I’m new to this app and I’ve been suffering from clitorodynia for about 8 years and would like to know if there’s anyone else like me… and if so, what are some things that you find to help with the pain of this disorder? Thanks in advance.

Oh man I’m so sorry. I have vulvodynia not clitorodynia but some things that I do to manage the pain are, well firstly, my doctor prescribed me a numbing liquid that I put on a cotton ball and on the area, which is a godsend for really bad days. I often times use ice wrapped in a towel as it seems to help numb it or sometimes I prefer a heat pad. It depends on the day for me. I communicate with my partner about it so that he knows when I don’t want to be touched or try anything sexual at all that day. I’ve thought about buying some of those ice pads that are typically used after childbirth honestly because they seem like they could be comforting for me in my daily life
