Assessing Disease Progression in Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

I have pretty severe EDS, mine was pretty placid as a kid and at like 17/18 it started to get bad and a few months before my 20th bday mine has started to progress really quickly. Not sure if any of this helps, but I would suggest just monitoring yours to make sure you know when it starts to get worse quicker

I'm severe and mine is progressing fast. My mom isn't diagnosed but has minor symptoms and she's only had a little pain after working manual labor for 15 years. Unfortunately there is no set time-line. It took till surgery number 8 in 4 years to accept that I have severe eds lol. It really just depends on your body.

EDS is a progressive disease. The speed is different from one to the other. I recommend visiting your doctor regularly, it can help you estimate the progression.
