Yes I’m holistic all the way I wouldn’t touch SSRIs after learning how they affect our hormones and gut health. I’m new to PMDD but I’m going to work with my holistic doctor to balance my hormones and I’ll let you ladies know how it goes.
What are SSRIs ?
I currently take two SSRIs to keep myself more stable throughout the month. I also use birth control to keep my PMDD week somewhat steady. I know birth control isn’t everyone’s favorite option but I needed it to keep my life a bit more regular and to know why I was pissed off out of the blue. I also use cannabis to help myself get back to normal if I’m extremely on edge. If you need something that’s not an anti anxiety med I was taking some sort of “generic benedryl” that took my stress down in public places. TLDR; Personally I manage with medication but there might be more holistic approaches!
