i just had my biopsy on tuesday and it SUCKED. they didn’t numb me, and didn’t explain anything, when i started to bleed put pressure on me in a way that cut me off from breathing. i also have bronchitis so i have been coughing a lot. i’m still in pain, my neck is super stiff and idk just don’t feel awesome i’m sure the coughing and taking care of a toddler don’t help. does this sound normal? i left two messages for my doctor and no calls back i just feel scared. every thing i look up says i should feel better within 24-48 hours

Has anyone been diagnosed with thyroid cancer? I had my biopsy last Tuesday still waiting for pathology report. I had right side removed in 2004 because they couldn’t tell if it was cancer or not. But when removed it came back as follicular neoplasm. Just wanted about this one lots of suspicion triad 5.

I have a hard time with biopsies and ultrasounds because how they want me to position my head and neck. I understand why my head needs to be bent back but a rolled towel under my neck would be helpful. Normally after when I sit up I am dizzy awhile and I feel off the rest of the day I will sometimes get a migraine/stress headache that creeps up my neck and up the back of the head. It's like it pinches a nerve. I can not imagine doing it with bronchitis or sinusitis. 🤒 One ultrasound the tech was acting like the gel was a suggestion and not really needed. So to make the scans clearer he pressed harder and when he was slidding it around it pulled my skin. When he was pushing on my airway he made the comment after he was done with that I was being a little dramatic.

Man that is no good. I have had two biopsies done and have never had that experience... you should definitely complain, it is a scary enough experience without pain and discomfort that is lasting. And you really don't need that when you are taking care of your toddler.
