I’m at a really low point in my life rn…and the only time I wanna hang out with friends it seems to inconvenience my dad…tonight I tried to hang out with a friend and all he keeps saying is no…I feel trapped in my own house and I hate crying everyday and I’m tired of feeling like I’m suffering.

I know the feeling and I know it's awful. I recommend taking baby steps with finding some coping mechanisms or some ways to get out of the house. Take walks, go for a bike ride, and I really recommend learning to drive and getting a license, it was the best thing I had done for myself. Take things one day at a time, try to complete at least one small task every day, and slowly you will see growth :)

@Katiexdeo - freedom comes from inside not getting a drivers license and gaining the ability to drive away. Once your license is in hand the Universe may challenge your beliefs just to prove freedom is found within. The Universe, Powers That Be, God - whatever you believe in - is always in control and is Life’s greatest teacher. Trust me, I have a license, can drive but lost my car! I’ve had to « cope » / « rediscover » what it means to be free. I used to think like that. When you think about it - having a license doesn’t make you free because you then need to enter a contract with an insurance company to drive, a contract with a car dealer for a car or contract with a family member to use a car. How is this free? Looking down the pipeline further, you will be pressured to secure a job (contract with an employer) - to pay for your insurance or potentially watched by family to return a borrowed car. God forbid you get into an accident - if you hopped on someone’s car insurance for a better rate (you’ve screwed them over), may taint the relationship, if you secured your own insurance policy (expect to work more to afford a higher monthly payment). Things to think about! Xxx

I can relate all too well. I have such bad anxiety and depression from being isolated in my house for so long. I long to move out already and experience my life to its fullness. Until then iVe been working on getting my license. I have my test next week and I hope by getting my license I’ll be able to get more freedom.

Do you have children? Look at the bright side, at least you aren’t court ordered to stay at your narcissistic mothers’ house after suffering generations of trauma with her. And, because of your illnesses, in order to see your child can only escape from the ongoing psychological bullying by leaving only for the child’s scheduled extracurricular activities to be within 20 miles of her house to which you must be gps tracked if out of her domain and return before 8 PM. Scope out SEPTA schedules or use Lyft. Do you have a job? I find focusing on a purpose helps me « get out » of my mind.
