Does anyone else have trouble drinking water because it just genuinely taste awful? Like no matter what, different water bottle brands, tap, water fountains, anywhere- it just always tastes horrible? Is there like a reason for that?
Anxiety (Including GAD)
Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
I dont know y either but it happens to me too my mom is always saying drink water but its just so discusting i have tried almost all the brands they have and they r all gross i only drink water if im appsolutly thirsty and thats it actually i can go with out drinking anything for2 days and thats when ill drink water
I can only drink sweet things, like water is gross and coffee too, only like sodas and things like that
yeah like i can drink sweet tea and sodas and coffee with lots of half and half and sugar
Have u tried waterdrops they are little flavored squares u drop in the water to make it sweeter and flavored. or other water flavorers like Mio?
Just throwing things out there
I have and they help a lot, just so strange to me that water tastes so bad😭
i used to be someone that would never ever drink water, now i drink a full bottle everyday. i personally found out that i think filtered water with a ton of ice is decent, so i started drinking that. eventually i started to crave water and the more i drank the better it tasted. i would say just keep trying.
Have you tried infused water with strawberries? Or something like that
I used to hate drinking water but I really wanted to lose weight recently and got myself a jug. I fill it with Poland spring water only and put cucumbers and strawberries. Now I feel strange if I go a few hours without water
I only drink water if it's flavored.... Not too big on soda, I'll have a sprite or Pepsi here and there but I mostly have coffee or tea. Powerade makes a cucumber water that's delicious but I can't find it around here anymore 😥
I hear actually cutting sugary drinks can help "reset" your palette for water especially but it could be something genetic if even that doesn't help. I agree with everyone else here, I especially think it being really cold can help too with a lot of ice or something a bit strange but like a water slushie that's just pure water. Flavoring can help though too but I'm not sure if you're looking for ways to drink more water haha
I'm like that with certain brands but not all water. I just get bored of water sometimes but I've found getting a decent sized knock off hydroflask helps motivate me to drink more water and Walmart sells these flavored lemonade packets that are sugar free and trust me I hate sugar free stuff as much as the next person but you can barely tell. I put three packets in my 40oz water. I spend like $10 every two weeks on the packets. It's much cheaper than soda.
They also sell caffeine packets so if you need an extra pick-me-up those are great too but I caution you to only put in one of those packets and do regular packets with the rest of your water otherwise you'll be hyped up for hours because they're 125mg of caffeine PER packet.
I'm obsessed with water and can never get enough 🙃
i hateeeee water. but i have to drink sooooo much of it or my fainting spells will be worsened
I have a problem with drinking water
