I’ve already tried excision and ablation surgery, a hormonal IUD, Depo-Provera, and Orilissa. I reacted badly to the Depo shot, I still have the IUD in, the pain relief from surgery only lasted 3 months, and I have to come off of the Orilissa due to decreasing bone density. What options are left to control the horrific pain?

Thanks Neomi and CherryBunny! I’ve tried cbd tincture but never heard of cbd suppositories. And I’ve done PT but never knew pelvic floor PT could be good for endometriosis. I didn’t know acupuncture could be good for it either. And I have migraines too.

Yes! I started accupunture for my migraines and then during the treatment, I told my therapist that I have also endometriosis and she said she could help with it too. Accupunture could be applied as a complementary treatment for endometriosis-related pain as well as for migraines.

Have you looked into pelvic floor physical therapy? I’ve definitely found that helpful for my pain and I still do the stretches even though I haven’t been in 2-3 years! Also I use CBD (some with THC and some without) feminine suppositories which have also been helpful as it’s right where my pain is.

Thanks Neomi. Have you had luck with either of those options for endo pain, or have you had doctors recommend them to you? I hadn’t heard of them for endo.

Maybe you can try to reach to alternative treatment to help you with the pain, like accupunture or therapeutic massage.
